The glass and shading combination for the staircase's facade was selected, keeping in mind the architect's vision of transparency and connectivity to outdoors.  The selected clear solar control glass allows for neutral looks and the external fins provide the required additional solar protection. The design of the external elements followed the architectural vision and the distance between them was calculated to provide the required protection for the occupants.
