10-20 Victoria Street occupies a prominent position on a route between Victoria Station and Westminster Abbey, in a setting of heritage buildings and conservation areas. The new proposal aims to deliver high-quality office space and an enhanced pedestrian experience, contributing to the ongoing regeneration of Victoria Street.

Inform Design was appointed to assist the Design Team from the early-stage façade assessments through to providing balanced solutions that align with the Architectural intent.

 

In more detail:
 

  • Touch base with the current façade design with regard to Peak Solar Gains compliance.

  • When necessary, propose façade schemes that meet the Peak Solar Gains target as set by the MEPs. We provide two sets of schemes:

    • Façade schemes without movable shading: We suggest glass coatings and minimum frit densities necessary to comply with the set target.

    • Façade schemes with movable shading: We outline facade areas where movable shading is necessary and areas where they can be avoided.
