Advanced comfort assessments (CFD)

The high concern of the client to provide high quality spaces without compromising comfort led us to more extensively studying the provided comfort. Using a Computational Fluid Dynamics tool, we created the typical office space in digital environment and assess the thermal conditions around a mannequin placed 1m from the window.

The detailed analysis demonstrated that heating the space only with radiators was enough, as the risk of local discomfort was negligible. This study could potentially reduce the investment cost as being “too safe” and installing additional heating systems (in this case convectors) was not always necessary.
