Our contribution to High 6 was to assist Tengbom architects and RISE in deriving "mold growth free" solutions within the  facade construction. This included guiding the design team towards passive options (e.g. adequately naturally ventilated double skin facade cavity) that will ensure a well-performing system and minimize the risk of condensation that often leads to mold growth. We carried out parametric studies, analyzing the effect of coatings and ventilation on the created conditions within the cavity worked together with RISE to minimize the risk of performance failures.
